PIZZA AND TABISCA: TAKE A BITE OF TRADITION IN GOOD COMPANY
“Wood-fired oven, select flours, traditional Italian recipes. Our pizzeria cherishes authentic flavours, like those of “Tabisca”, the Sicilian-style pizza that can be eaten by two diners and has won the hearts and taste buds of our customers”.
OPENING TIMES: every evening, except Fridays, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
All our pizzas are prepared with quality, seasonal ingredients and baked in a wood-fired oven, just as you would expect from Italian tradition.
Diners can also choose Khorasan or spelt flour for their pizza base.
The pizzeria is renowned locally for our special Tabisca pizza.
Tabisca is a traditional long, narrow Sicilian pizza, made from durum wheat flour with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of salt. This type of dough is particularly light and easy to digest.
The name itself evokes the aromas and nuances of Sicilian cuisine, which lies at the crossroads of different cultures. In Arabic, “Tabisc” is the name of a bread still baked today in several countries in Mediterranean Africa.
According to tradition, Tabisca is served on wooden boards and creatively accompanied by many different ingredients. Tabisca is a sharing pizza that is always eaten by two people.
